Motorcycle Driving Course A1
The course is designed to prepare you for the Module One and Module two tests. The training includes a variety of angle starts from parked vehicles and hill starts, as along with basic road riding skills such as controlled stops and emergency actions.
The IME course will help you understand the fundamentals of riding a motorbike, and develop mental strategies that are safe. It will also allow you to earn an insurance discount premiums.
Theory
The course provides the theoretical preparation for the test. This includes online lessons and eas theory study material that you can study independently. After registering in our system you will receive instructions on how to take part in these classes remotely in the virtual classroom (in Finnish). You can then choose the best schedule for your needs.
In this stage your driving instructor will guide you understand the basics of motorcycling. You will learn about the rules of the road and safety tips along with some of the more intricate parts of the vehicle. In addition to the required knowledge for all licence categories, you will also be familiar with the specific requirements for your particular category.
The eas theoretical module included in the course package will prepare you for your motorcycle driving the test of theory. This is an essential element of your education and will assist you in passing the test. The theory test is a written examination and comprises 40 questions as well as two clips of hazard perception. To pass the test, you must answer at least 28 out of 40 questions correctly.
The eas test should be taken a month before you reach the age requirements for the licence category you are studying for. The test must be taken by a certified DVSA tester. If you do not pass your test at the first attempt, you'll have to wait at least 2 weeks before taking it again.
We request that you pay any outstanding balance if you're not able to pass the theory test prior to when you begin your eas training. This is to prevent another student from being able to take the reserved seat on this course. If you do not pass the theory test on the date specified in your training schedule we will be unable to book a resit for you and you'll have to pay the resit fees at the time of booking.

Motorcycle driving courses also offer practical classes. These are the most important parts of your learning experience. They can be spread out over several days or even longer, depending on your needs. You'll need your own motorcycle to complete this course. You should choose a motorcycle that is easy to handle that isn't too heavy or fast. The best place to start is with a 50cc moped or scooter.
The practical test is the next stage after you have completed your theory course. The test is divided into Module 1 and Module 2. The first, Module 1, is a 40-minute road ride, and the second part is a 10-minute independent riding section. Both parts are required in order to obtain your license.
To prepare for your module 2 motorcycle test, you should practice basic maneuvers like the figure 8, slalom, and emergency stop. These skills will help you understand what the examiner will be looking for. Also, make sure that your bike is in excellent condition and that you are wearing a full set of gear including gloves, helmet and a jacket. Wear comfortable shoes and carry your driving license.
The motorbike driving certification is valid only for two years. If you fail the test within that time, you'll need to go through the theory course again.
Module 5 is mandatory if you plan to upgrade to a new vehicle category. This is the progression part of the course that allows you to modify your license without having to go through the whole IBT program over again. It's essential that you take this course with the type of motorcycle you plan to use, and it should be approved by your instructor.
You'll need a motorbike that is road-legal and has full-sized L plates front and rear, and mirrors. You'll also need to ensure that the bike is appropriate for the test you're taking, and that you've got an appropriate helmet and attire for the weather.
The Assessment
Before you start training for the A1 motorcycle licence, you need to have completed the Initial Basic Training (IBT). This is a eight-hour course that teaches the skills required for safe riding. This course is part of the RSA's Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme, which is designed to improve road safety. Once you've completed IBT the instructor will give you feedback and a recommendation as to whether you are ready for the next step of your training or not.
Once you've completed the IBT, your instructor will help prepare you for the A1 practical test. The test will be split into two parts. You must pass both in order to obtain your license. Module 1 is off-road manoeuvres like controlled stops, a slalom, and around cones. Module 2 is on-road and requires you to follow a specific route with varying traffic conditions.
The Module 1 test lasts for 20 minutes and focuses on your ability to execute off-road manoeuvres, such as slow speeds and an eight-figure figure. You'll be asked to make a U turn and an emergency stop.
After having passed the module 1 and 2 tests, you can take a motorcycle with a maximum power of 35kW. This is the initial part of the full A license, which permits you to ride manual or automatic motorbikes or scooters.
It's important to keep in mind that your A1 licence will only be valid for two years. After that, you'll have to upgrade to the A2 licence, which will give you more freedom on roads.
A1 courses include both theory and practical classes. The amount of practical training is contingent on the amount of experience you already have on a bike and the number of classes can differ from school to school. It's a good idea to enroll in an A1 course as early as you can so that you can schedule your theory and practical tests at the same time. You will also need the required equipment, including gloves and a helmet. If you don't have the required equipment certain driving schools provide a loaner program.
Licensing

The Compulsory Base Training (CBT) is the initial step to getting a motorcycle licence. After passing the CBT test, you are legally able to ride a bike up to 35 kW. It can vary from a moped to a small motorbike.
CBT consists of both theoretical and practical training. It helps you comprehend and apply the rules and regulations that you must adhere to on the road. The course lasts for 12 hours and is broken into three modules of each four hours. Before you can take your driving test for category A1, you have to complete all three modules. You must also be 18 years old to pass the course.
You must get at least 25 points to pass the test in theory. To pass the test you must answer all the questions correctly. There are no Retakes. The test takes 45 minutes and can be taken at any TUV or Dekra branch of your choice.
The practical portion is divided into three sections each lasting 4 hours. You must be 18 years old to complete the course, and be able operate any motorbike from 50cc up to a 35kW bike. You must also demonstrate your ability to manage and control the vehicle in various situations, including passing, turning right or left or changing lanes.
After completing jazda na motocyklu a1 and practical lessons, you will be able to take the driving test to get your category A1 license. This test involves a series riding exercises on the motorcycle provided by your instructor. You should also be able to demonstrate that you can control the motorcycle in different situations and in all weather conditions.
To pass the test you must be able to complete a minimum of five hours of training on Federal or country roads, and a further four training hours in a daytime or dawn. You also must complete a specified number of special rides. The instructor will inform you when you are ready to take the test and will give you valuable tips for passing the test.
